Erika & Tyler Engagements - Lover's Leap, Camdenton, MO
Been a fast few weeks. Went to MO with my girls for a week and had a great early Christmas with my family. Shot some prego pics, family photos and these Engagement pics for the wedding we're photographing at Casa De Loco in July. Tyler & Erika were easy to photograph due to the fact that they're both really really ridiculously good looking and are totally into each other. Pretty easy when you tell your couple to just get close and they go for it and forget that you're there. I wanted a location that put us up pretty high with a view without going to Ha Ha Tonka where everyone, including myself, has had their photos taken. My dad suggested Lover's Leap, which turned out to be perfect and kinda weird that my dad suggested a place called lover's leap. There was an old abandoned house just chillin there in the woods, falling apart...so we used that. Loved the shower. As soon as I saw it I wanted to do a creepy shower scene. I think they thought I was a bit crazy, but they did it. I've really been into doing ... not sure what to call them, but shots like that one. Mom calls them my signature shots, and I think that sounds pretty cool. If you know Jamie Hicks you can ask her what signature shot I did with her and her hubby =) it was pretty awesome.
Also huge thanks to Jordan Weaver for helping out. He's a brilliant photographer as well.
Got back from Park City the other night after a week in the snow. Katie's mom rented a cabin for 5 nights...it was great, snowboarding, sledding, & our Christmas Who Feast. We're excited, refreshed and ready to move forward with photography even more this year. We put a new logo up. Gonna rename the biz to K Hulett Photography, and do a few changes here and there as we see it. Gotta run. Going to post best of 2009 in a few days.

Derek Zoolander: Well I guess it all started the first time I went through the second grade. I caught my reflection in a spoon while I was eating my cereal, and I remember thinking "wow, you're ridiculously good looking, maybe you could do that for a career."
Matilda: Do what for a career?
Derek Zoolander: Be professionally good looking
