Christy & Mark - Colorado Springs, August 22, 2009

Christy & Mark are Awesome. Their families are Awesome. Colorado Springs is Awesome.

Where to start. This was the 3rd wedding in consecutive weekends in different states. Christy and Mark volunteered to pick us up at the airport and even though we were there 2 full days, they said "you'll find rides." See, our cottage was about 5 miles from theirs and 15 miles from the wedding site. But sure enough we always had a ride. And most of the time they just gave us the keys to their car, which says a lot about how Awesome they are.

We did engagement style shots at 5am at the Broadmoor hotel in CO Sp. amazing hotel. Then we were off the the rehearsal, dinner & the boudoir shots that night. Saturday started pretty early and ran till about 11pm.

Their wedding was in the middle of a huge grove of aspen trees in Divide, CO. And I have such a love for aspen trees. There were trails cut in between them leading every which way. It was so beautiful up there. I told Katie I could move up there the next day. The property was located at 9300 ft I think and had a sick view Pike's Peak off in the distance. Which you can see in a couple pics.

Loved this wedding, love this couple. We had a blast and are so thankful we got this one.

Also thanks to Christy's Awesome parents for driving us to the airport Sunday morning!

If this is the first blog you've read in a while, you don't know how busy I am. It's ok, I'll tell you now. I'm very busy. Gotta run

Leslie & John - Casa De Loco, Camdenton MO 8/8/9

Just a few pics from Leslie & John's wedding at the amazing House of Crazy in Camdenton, MO. This is the 2nd wedding I've shot there, and it's one of the coolest places to shoot.
Leslie was so fun and just a blast to be around. Always with a smile on her face... I shot the rehearsal the night before and then nails and toes the next morning, and then off to begin photographing all that goes into the wedding day. We had a short amount of time to do the set up shots, but I felt like we got some really great stuff.
I was in MO for 2 weeks and their wedding was at the end of the trip. I ended up photographing 13 different shoots while I was there. Also I have 4 full weddings still on the computer. And all this to be done before Paris AND we're moving...So yeah, busy. So like the last couple blogs, I better cut this short & get back to work.

Sophia & Kevin - Vegas 8/15/9

Currently I'm in the Colorado Springs Airport waiting for Christy & Mark to give us a lift to Divide, CO where their wedding is. We got through all these whilst waiting. I'll keep this short.
This wedding was easily a favorite. Love Sophia & Kevin, and their families were warm and beautiful, fun and inviting. Kev's family is from England, Sophia's family from Mexico and Spain. Talk about an abundance of gorgeous people. Very elegant wedding. We had a blast. Thank you Heidi for coming down to help out! You were great!

I'd love to go on and on, but I'm tired...we're traveling... Start shooting at 5am tomorrow.
